“So, why not just shoot me!”
The cop just looks at her emotionless. He probably thinks she’s crazy for saying this. But he’s a cop and he’s only doing his job.
“Ma’am are you okay?” Yes, she said. She’s okay but she claims her husband were trying to kill her. The cop still remains emotionless. Then, she starts kicking him for no apparent reason. Then he puts a handcuff on her. “Nooooooooooooooo…what are you doing? You dog!!!!! You are always trying to mess things up. You’re not only a pig but also a DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He drags her outside. The ambulance is waiting outside. There were several people around her. Forcing her to lay down and get her in the ambulance. “You can’t do this to me!!! I’m a U.S. citizen of this country. I have my rights!!! Let me go!!!!!!!!” She is now sobbing.
She talks to the EMT and including her thinks she’s crazy and just looks at her. “You know you guys can’t do this to me. You cannot force me to go to the hospital. I’m fine!!!!! Where are you taking me? YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Well, she’s wrong. They just did it to her and she has no say. They took her cell phone. She’s still in her pajama.
They handcuffed her in bed. “YOU LET ME OUTTA HERE YOU HEAR!!!!!!!??? You people are CRAZY!!!!!!!!! I don’t belong here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Then she overheard, “Oh, it was just this woman. Her husband claims she had too much to drink.”
I have always thought of writing a short novel of some sort and just do it. Sometimes when I’m cooking or washing dishes, that’s when I’m flooded with thoughts after thoughts…and by the time I get to my computer to write this, the devil just takes it away!
I sometime wish we have a device hooked to our thoughts that when we think of a story to write that it would just write on our computer. But then that would be creepy, wouldn’t it. So maybe not. It’s just the ACTUAL writing the story in my head doesn’t feel the same as if I was feeling it, thinking about it. I could see a movie scene in my head. It’s perfect. The moment I sit in front of the computer…BLANK. Yes, just a blank stare at my computer.
So how do you guys brainstorm your writing? I’m sure everyone has their story and style of writing! Are you one of these people who loves to put a quote in every single sentence that’s being said. Or are you the one who loves writing without it. I, one time, read a very short story of 500 words only and in his story didn’t have a quote but I perfectly understood what he was writing about. I wish I could write that way, tho. But it’s hard for me to do that. I’m used to using “quotes” in my stories. Anyway, I would love to hear your story. Please leave a comment below.
