I normally don’t make my New Year’s Resolution til now. Maybe it’s like a goal for the whole year. I just work hard to accomplish all the projects that needs to be done and I guess to me that is resolution.
Anyway, here they are:
- Launch my first “how to” ebook
- Develop my first novel
- Create a new niche
- Attend Meet-Up once to twice a month
- Finish reading all the 40 business ebooks
- Save money for my trip to Philippines
- Build my ebay account
• Launch my first “how to” ebook
This is still in the process. I thought I could finish this book in a month but I was wrong. The moment I start to challenge myself in finishing the book on a certain deadline, there goes interruptions around the house.
• Develop my first novel
Before I started my blog, I had this in the back of my mind for the longest time. I wanted to start writing this in Microsoft Word but never got to do it. And since my goal each day is to write at least 2,500 words, this will be a great motivation. Just write anything that goes in my mind. Sometimes, I just keep talking to myself. My brain just won’t shut. So yeah, I better put this down on my pad.
• Create a new niche
Currently, I bought the domain copingwithstress.net. Found out that this is an old domain since January 29, 2003. Tim Bonner have done such a great job on his niche website, he truly gave me an inspiration. I’d like to experiment on this one.
The other niche I like to develop is the Love and Relationship which I have put on hold for awhile. I want something I can build and leave it and build the organic search like the way Tim did. It is a proven fact that you can make money on niche website. Anyway, besides building this, I like to experiment on other things but it will be kept in secret for now.
• Attend Meet-Up once to twice a month
On the last quarter of 2013, I have been going to Meet-Up groups here in Fresno and one of them is the eWomen Network. So far so good. I have been meeting quite a few women business entrepreneurs. I would like to establish network relationship offline as much as online. I met quite a few women and a few business leads which I am working still so far. I believe nothing beats dealing business face-to-face.
• Finish reading all the 40 business ebooks
I think I just went overboard on this one. And I bought a lot of books that could help me in my business. 85% of the books I bought is from Steve Scott. And some of the books are about the graphic designs, graphic artist guild, and a whole bit. I don’t want to spend anymore money on books until I read each single one of these.
• Save money for my trip to Philippines
I’ve been in the United States for a very long time. In fact, I grew up in California and live in California all my life. Not once have I travel back in the homeland I was born. I want to see my best friend in elementary and high school again. She has a house in Cavite and she invited me that I could stay with her if I ever decided to come back again. Apparently, I don’t know when I will be back but I’d like to start saving money for this.
• Build my ebay account
My husband actually built this account for me already. So far I have 165 positive feedback. No negative feedback. My husband has another account, which he sells big items like guitars, and this one have 2,000+ positive feedback. We have so much junk to sell in the house, we really need to clean it up.
My husband cannot do it all by himself. I know he says he doesn’t need help but I think he needs help. And I’m going to start listing more items here as part of my daily routine. I don’t really like ebay. This is a “must” do. Something I have to do and not want to do. It’s one of those things.
and so over to you…
Do you believe in creating a New Year’s Resolution? If you are, what are they? Will you kindly share with me and my readers? I’m looking forward to hear your side. 🙂
