I finally found the perfect “social sharing media” button that I needed on my blog and that is: AddThis
I tell you I have tried all kinds of social media sharing buttons and NOTHING seems to work. I thought I’ve installed Jetpack at first. It was doing okay until one day the social media sharing buttons started to appear on my right hand sidebar also, plus it is too big of a file. For having to use only 1-2 items in there, I don’t think it’s worth keeping the Jetpack.
I know that AddThis is also on my right hand sidebar but I don’t mind that at all. At least it’s got all the social media sharing stuff that I need. It’s almost the complete list of all the social media.
Look at all the choices you have when you click the +Share button:
It says it has 339 choices! That’s awesome.
You can’t beat that. It has everything you need. I’m very happy to have this. And so if you are wondering what kind of social media sharing button I’m using, it is AddThis. If you’re having trouble with yours and cannot find the one you want, you might want to try the AddThis plugin.
And no, I am not affiliated with them either. I just happen to like their plugin. It’s the best I’ve seen so far! …and make sure you add your @username on the “Advance” folder so when someone shares your post to Tweeter, your @username is added at the end.
Anyway, Happy Sharing…
Just a note: By the way, this is the updated post Social Media Sharing article I wrote in the past. If you prefer Jetpack or Simple Social Sharing button, have it your way. Although the PHP of the Social Sharing button works well for me, I didn’t think they have all the important social media I want to include there. So I switch to AddThis.
