Every year we light up our fireplace. Smelling the fire logs burning is the sign that the holidays are here coming so close. It starts with Thanksgiving and after that everything falls into place.
Before I wrote this Thanksgiving post, I felt downhearted. I almost wanted to cry. As I’m writing this post, I am listening to my Christmas music. And by listening to these music brings back reminiscence.
Reminiscense when my children were used to be small little kids. It brings so much joy to my heart to be around them. But then after they have grown up they tend to hang around with their friends more.
Even on special holiday.
I feel sad and I was drowning to the feeling of loneliness. Yes, isn’t it funny? You can be lonely even when people are around you. I feel sad because I cannot be with my family who is so far away from me.
Please don’t ask. Our family went through a lot. I just prayed today and told God that even though I feel lonely, I know I am not alone because His Holy Angels are around me. And that God is with me.
After I have written a note of Thanksgiving to all of you, suddenly that dark feeling have been uplifted in my heart. It’s like God have embraced me, reassured me, that nothing in His sight will escape.
He sees everything. He knows everything.
My life down here on earth means nothing without the love of my family. When it boils down to life there are only three things: (1) Your Family (2) Your Friends and (3) God. Nothing else is more important.
My life revolves around my family. I’ve nothing else to live for but for them. Work is nice but I don’t feel successful without having my family. I don’t need to have a lot of material things to keep me happy.
Just the gathering.
The essence of Life revolves around my family, dear friends (like you), yes YOU!!! and most of all GOD. I have a lot to thank for that if I write them all, 1000 words is not enough to list them all. So I’m joyful.
To all of you who lives in America, Happy Thanksgiving!!! God bless you all. 🙂
